Events Coordinator (Full-time)We seek an enthusiastic and talented candidate who will demonstrate high levels of initiative, provide exceptional service and client support to ensure our conference, events and incentive programs are a great success.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role within a Four Star Hotel or Resort environment
- Sound knowledge of Event Floor Operations
- Demonstrated ability in managing a complex contractual process (including finalisation of contract details)
- Excellent computer and administrative skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access) are essential
- Experience in Event Pro Banquet software would be advantageous
- Proven experience in building business links within the Events Industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills including a proactive response to client enquiries
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise effectively
- Professional presentation and a confident, personable manner
Please note that this is not a live-on position and the successful candidate must have reliable transport and the ability to commute daily from Hope Harbour Marina.
